Background: |
In 1984, Kevin Kinsella took up selling fireproof safes and files to supplement his grain farming income and to provide for his growing family. Kevin had a knack for talking with people about the need to protect their valued possessions and his business grew. In 2005, Kinsella and his family decided to stop farming in order to focus on the safe business. Kevin had some “ideas” he needed more time to explore. After many years of listening to his customer’s feedback, he saw a need for better storage solutions for guns. In January of 2009, the company organized as a Sub-Chapter S corporation with Gun Storage Solutions as a subsidiary. The two flagship products, Handgun Hangers and Rifle Rods were well received by gun owners and StoreMoreGuns.com became an internet presence for the company. In 2010, Kinsella designed a line of products called Kikstands for gun shop display cases. These were a hit at the recent 2011 SHOT Show. The company’s underlying goal is to provide efficient and effective gun storage and display products. We feel that our roots with gun owners enable us to be on the cutting edge of designing products to serve them. Our products are simple, yet innovative. We are also proud to say they are Made in the United States of America! |

We are located on 3.5 acres in the central Illinois Corn Belt. Our business is run out of a ‘glorified’ machine shed. It’s not a barn, but it is decorated with old barn wood that Kevin and his wife Patti laboriously took off of barns and corn cribs in the area. |
